Forever Charmed Review

Forever Charmed (ARC Review)
Vieux Carre Witch Sisters' Book 3
Published by Entangled November 7, 2016
4.5 Spellbound Stars

"Love can make you do things you would never imagine you were capable of."

Blurb:

Rose Morgeaux is a healer, not a killer, so training to fight is the last thing she wants to do. And if going against everything she believes in isn’t bad enough, she has to do it with the eyes of the dark and handsome Callahan McCray on her back.

Cal’s seen the work of Warlocks firsthand when one killed his brother a year ago, so Rose’s hybrid heritage is all the reason he needs to stay away. Teaching her to throw a knife was not on his agenda, but neither was falling for her.

When Rose begins to pay a heavy price for her passions, Cal’s love must be enough to save her from herself and keep her from following in her grandfather’s dark footsteps. (Goodreads)

Review:

The Morgeaux sisters have been struggling to deal with the fact that not only are they witches but also part Warlock as well. As if that wasn't enough, they also are being forced to train to learn to fight with the Paladins, a sect of humans whom made a pact to protect Witches. For Rose that task is even harder when her calling is healing, not harming. But as the next in line to protect the spells hidden within the painting learning how to fight isn't an option. The question is, will she be able to protect it from her mother who is determined to save her own father that is also trapped within the painting.

Rose is paired up with a very reluctant trainer, Callahan, who has his own demons he's battling, the one's within. Feeling as though being forced to train the hybrid's is a torture all its own with the deep seeded hatred he holds for Warlocks, he's slowly coming to realize that some torture may indeed be sweet. Fighting an attraction that may have started off from sheer lust swiftly becomes a losing battle for both of them.

Readers will fall in love with the Morgeaux sisters all over again in Forever Charmed, rooting for them to find love and happiness among the chaos that has become their life. Watching them not only grow as witches and women, but learning to live with the other part of themselves, their Warlock side. And just as with Brye in His Wicked Desire, we've seen that side is mjuch closer to the surface than they ever knew, the same may be said for Rose, maybe even more-so.

Chartier is a true storyteller with the rare ability to pull readers in and allow them to truly visualize the story as if it were taking place right before their very eyes. For readers looking for a romance that's by far more than just that; one with magic, excitement, laughter, and unpredictability, this is the perfect read. While Forever Charmed may be read and enjoyed as a standalone I highly recommend reading books one and two first, otherwise you'd be doing yourself a disservice.

Review: Mack

Mack by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff (ARC Review)
King Book 4
Published February 9, 2016 by P&S INC
4 Undying Souls

"King may be the evil twin, but Mack is definitely the deadly one."

Synopsis -

"THEY THINK KING IS EVIL, BUT HE'S GOT NOTHING ON ME." -Mack

MY NAME IS MACK. And if I play my cards right, I will soon be dead. Permanently. Not even my powerful twin brother will be able to resurrect me. A good thing. Because a man like me has no business living. Not when I have killed. Not when I have betrayed everyone I have ever cared for. Not when I know I'm destined to do it again.

This is why I have come looking for her--the only one capable of ending me once and for all. But will she think I'm just another insane patient? Or will she believe the truth? I am thousands of years old, my heart too dark to be salvaged. And my name isn't really Mack.
~~~
MY NAME IS TEDDI, short for Theodora. My entire life has been a canvas of grays, whites, and black. I can't feel, I can't understand joy, I've never truly lived. Until now. His name is Mack, and though he believes he's cursed, my degree in psychology tells me otherwise. Besides, someone who's capable of bringing so much light into my life can't be anything but good.
But I can save him. If he'll let me. (Goodreads)
Review -
For all fans who have been needing a King fix and sad to see the trilogy end, dry your tears because King is back. For readers picking this one up as a stand alone, you may as well go ahead and purchase the other three before you even get started. Don't get me wrong. You will be able to enjoy Mack without having read King, but when your done, you're going to want to read on.
Turns out that both twins are sick and twisted individuals in their own right, but the curses that made them that way do not intertwine with one another and though both are very unique, they were both committed from love.  But what King has continued to do over the centuries out of love for his twin has pretty much done more harm than good.
Mack's story is one of not only true love but of brotherly love as well. And the lengths in which people are willing to go in order to keep those that they love safe, happy and alive. And how those very decisions made from love can hurt so much more than one could ever have imagined.
While Mack may have his happy ending, it may destroy that of someone else's. Readers will walk away with mixed emotions on this one, but, they will be happy with the no doubt fact that the story of King is nowhere near its end. The question left hanging? Will these two brothers ever be able to find peace, and love, at the same time? Or is Fate bound and determined that at least one of them live in constant torment? The King series is definitely a must read.
Review: His Witch To Keep
His Witch to Keep by Zoe Forward (ARC Review)
Keepers of the Veil Book 2
Published November 9, 2015 by Entangled Publishing
5 Magical Bullets
"One can ignore fate for only so long, especially when chemistry is also involved."
Synopsis -
A paranormal category romance from Entangled's Covet imprint...
Wanting her was one thing. Keeping her was another...
Serenity Danssaert was already in way over her head. Not even her MI6 training or her powers as one of the seven Pleiades witches is going to save her sister. Then Alexi Jovec shows up. A secret operative working for unknown forces, he's impossibly sexy and dangerous...and the guy who bailed on Serenity after a red-hot, racy night.
So bonding to him as her destined--the One--is so very wrong.
While Alexi's need to own Serenity--body, soul, and beyond--is nearly unbearable, it's also forbidden. He's the last man who could ever be her destined. Besides, Hades's right-hand man cannot bond with a chosen Pleiades witch. He may be the one man who can protect her, but she can never be his to keep. (Goodreads)
Review -
Zoe Forward does not disappoint with this second installment of the Keepers of the Veil series. His Witch to Keep may even prove to be better than the last. She nails that critical point within a series of where information on the background is too much and not enough and got it perfectly on the nail. So much so that this book can even be enjoyed as a stand alone read, but, enjoyed so much more after having read book 1, Protecting His Witch.
Serenity has all of the problems that come with being a Pleiades witch and then some. A former undercover agent with the fate of the world on her shoulders, she also has to deal with a kidnapped sister, and a lethal killer hot on her heals who she has the hots for is nothing more than another day in her life. That is until she continues getting slapped in the face by one big reveal after another, each one more shocking and more damning than the last. The one she simply can't wrap her head around is big, tall and extremely dangerous. When all signs point to him being the one, she can't possibly believe it to be true, especially after finding out that there are other God's at play, and he's descended from one of them.
Alexi has been stalking Serenity ever since their one night stand together, and not just because he wants to boink her again. His feelings run far deeper than that. Being taught all of his life that he is not the one in his family to be allowed to settle down with any woman, his soul purpose to be Hades right hand and nothing more, he has come to terms with that. Sort of. After all, he is only stalking her to insure her well-being. At least that's the lie he keeps telling himself. That's not even his biggest problem. The next victim on his list brings things far too close to home, and the ties are tightly connected to Serenity.
A love that was not made overnight and well worth the wait, a heroine that can most certainly hold her own, and two people who respect one another and neither trying to change the other. Non stop action from one page to the next with surprises and tons of fun along the way, His Witch to Keep is definitely a must read.
Praise for Wicked Ride
“Non-stop action and a hero to die for!”—Alexandra Ivy
“Fast-paced romance . . . very compelling. Highly recommended.”—Library Journal (Goodreads)
Review -
First of all, let's try to clear up some of the rumors I've been hearing right now. Wicked Edge and the Realm Enforcer's Series as a whole, is NOT an MC contemporary novel. Far from it. It is a continuation of the incredible, delectable Dark Protector's series, with the focus being in the human world. The MC aspect only has to do with the Dunne brothers' ongoing investigation on the deadly drug taking out witches, Apollo. Don't get me wrong, Zanetti has used what little MC activity within these books to its full capacity making for some very adrenaline pumping fight scenes. And the rival MC? A group of Grizzly Bear shifters, so in no way shape or form are these contemporary novels.
That being said, I'm loving it. The guest appearances, the tie ins, the relationships/matings that are continuously bonding the families that fans already know and love are fangtastic, without being overwhelmingly so. The Realm Enforcers is a strong enough series to develop a fan base on its own while more than enough to keep Dark Protector fans from going into withdrawals.
Daire Dunne is more than sure that fate has planned for him to find a mate that will be obedient, docile and completely organized. He finds out just how far from the truth that is after he ends up being drugged by the "enhanced human" he brings home with him for a night of fun in the sack. What he gets is far more complications in his life than he ever thought possible, along with a possible lead on the witch helping with the making of Apollo. If he can survive the woman fate has brought kicking and screaming into his life, he may be a few steps closer to closing his case.
Cee Cee has plenty more secrets than just what her name is and her true species, and she's very good at keeping them. She has been plotting for almost thirty years revenge against the demon who killed her mate, and the time has come to put all of those crazy plans to action. As strategically as she has everything planned there should be no complications, except for the deadly enforcer she pissed by drugging once, or twice. Not that she's really keeping count or anything. Cee Cee has had her life decided for her since birth due to not having the same powers as her brethren, but now her time has come to show everyone how strong she truly is. But will she survive to enjoy the outcome?
Fast-paced, action packed edge of your seat plots and characters readers can't help but love. This is a Paranormal novel to be loved regardless of gender. A true must read, right along with the rest of the series.
Review: Rise of the Fae
Rise of the Fae (ARC Review)
The Society Book 2
Published November 10, 2015 by Lyrical Press
5 BLOODY FANGS!!!
"Its hard to find someone who can love all parts of you, the good along with the bad. Especially when have more than one person living inside of you."
Synopsis -
In a post-virus New World, authentic humans are a hot commodity. And The Society rules.
Neeman has tried everything to overcome the pain of both heartbreak and being forcibly turned into a vampyr. When he meets the headstrong Selene in a nightclub, she could be the change he needs. Her beautiful human-like features stand out among the vamps, and he has no choice but to bring her back to his Tracking Squad’s compound before she gets herself killed.
Charged with stopping a demon invasion, Selene has been sent back to the Earth Realm by the Fae. But en route, she loses the talisman that can keep her darker nature, and her impulses, under control. With Vampires now ruling Earth there are more vices than ever to distract her from her mission. Especially Neeman, whose hard body and piercing gaze awakens a primal desire within her. He’s the only one who can protect her from The Society, and from even darker forces on the horizon…but he can’t protect her from himself. (Goodreads)
Review -
In Reign of the Vampire, Rebekah R. Ganiere introduced us to a new breed of vampires, with three distinct classifications; the Vampires whom were born, the vampyr who were bitten and the vamps who were victims of an experiment gone horribly wrong. Readers also learned that the human race was close to extinction, as well as the existence of demons. This action packed addition to the series introduces the fae, and Tinkerbell they are not.
By the end of Reign of the Vampire, most were thinking of Neeman as a whiny, conceded bitch. Before getting to the end of Chapter one those feelings will completely change. Readers will get a much more in depth look at the man and start seeing him as much more than just a jealous ex. By the middle of the book he will develop an even bigger cheering squad than Mason had.
Neeman never wanted to become a vampyr and has always hated and mistrusted that part of himself, and always mourned his mortal life. Having been able to find comfort within Dannika and then losing her just made things seem all the worse. But when a seemingly harmless 'human' walks onto the dance floor of his bar of choice, his entire world gets flipped upside down real quick. The vixen seems to be just looking for trouble in the worst possible way, and looking to make his head split in two. And though he can't seem to keep track of whether or not her eyes our purple or green, the more he learns about her, the more he wants her. But trouble seems to just follow in her wake and he knows she is hiding something that could destroy what little peace left in this plain of the Earth.
Most people have a metaphorical hidden inner demon, some like Selene have a very real hidden inner demon. One hell bent on causing chaos and destruction wherever she goes. That isn't her biggest problem. She has been sent back to Earth, something she couldn't be more joyous about if it hadn't come with the mission she's been sent on. If she goes through with what it is she's supposed to do, not only will she lose what little family she has left, but the one male she has come to love. And while the vampires may be sick and twisted in their own ways, they have at least kept up some semblance of peace.  The same won't be said if the fae or demons have their way.
This book is for true fans of the lore and vampires who most definitely do not shine unless they're glistening with sweat, or blood. Full of action, blood, guts, chaos, mayhem, plot twists, characters full of life and some romance thrown in between. A series to be enjoyed by any gender, so long as they are not squeamish. Though this book can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend reading book 1 first.
Blood and Metal Review
Synopsis -
She's his last chance for redemption...if she doesn't kill him first.
Copilot of the Blood Hunter, Daisy is a newly-turned vampire, and she's hungry. Really hungry and it's interfering with her plans for revenge. Unfortunately, the only thing that can distract her from said hunger is sex...which is a problem when she can barely refrain from draining any man dry within moments. But old flame Fergal Cain might just be the sexy-assed solution to her problem.
Part human, part cyborg, and with a poison coursing through his system, Fergal's running out of time to find the scientist who has the cure. Unfortunately for him, the misfit crew of the Blood Hunter put a serious kink in his plans. And if the poison doesn't kill him, the hot little vamp he can't resist might do the honors herself...
5 BLOODY FANGS!
"From being green to sporting fangs, Daisy's life, or rather un-life, is anything but dull."
Review -
Nina Croft brings readers back on another starship ride on the Blood Hunter, and once again does not disappoint. Picture Star Trek, mixed with Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, mixed with Riley Jensen and a little bit of Kim Harrison's Hollow's thrown in, and you'll have a close image of this amazing series. The perfect dosage of sci-fi, paranormal, romance and non-stop thrills.
It's Daisy's turn in the spotlight as she loses her green and learns what it truly means to become a vampire. Hopefully without ripping the throats out of any of the crew. When happening upon an old fling from the past, she may have found to perfect solution by substituting her hunger for blood for a hunger of a different kind of lust. Problem? When she allows him entrance into more than just her bed it complicates matters, and may interfere with the crews plans of revenge against the Church. Particularly High Priest Hatcher, the man personally responsible for the deaths' of two crew members.
Fergal Cain is just your average insane reporter who happens to be part cyborg, and on his own since the age of twelve. His most current undercover story is finding the man who made him within six months, before he dies, or worst. And just when his plans to find him, Cain's plans are turned upside down as someone who seems all too familiar, only she has the wrong skin tone, walks back into his life and everything seems to get turned upside down. When Fergal learns of what the crew has planned for the Church, lets just say conflicting emotions doesn't even begin to describe his predicament.
This book should not, I repeat not, be read as a stand alone. In order to fully enjoy it, especially emotionally, readers should read the series in its entirety. A must read for any gender and lover of Paranormal and/or SciFi.
Review -
This anthology begins with Alexandra Ivy's On The Hunt with a Sentinel in search of a lost acolyte, and also for the Healer he let slip away. Unlike most authors who attempt to put a full blown love story into a short, their's is one that had already developed and blossomed throughout the years, until she left him practically at the altar. But don't look for simple romance here, there is also action, drama and not one dull moment. And a revelation at the end that will leaves fans bucking their eyeballs out of their heads. For readers new to this series, you'll be craving for the rest. For fans of this series, you won't want to miss out on this one.
Rebecca Zanetti takes us away from the Realm and into the human world where Kryptonite effects more than just Superman. A meteorite has touched down on earth and its more than just an innocent rock. And those who survive the infection are the most dangerous to society at large. While scientist Nora Mendina struggles to find an antibiotic that will kill it, she also must come to terms with how she still feels about her ex-husband. There might not be any fangs in this one, but enough excitement, action and heat that paranormal fans will still be very happy with this read.
Kinda had mixed feelings about Phantom Embrace. I loved it all in all, as I truly love the series as a whole. But, the ending, to me, was sort of a double-edged sword whose arc I saw slicing from the beginning. Though it was indeed a beautiful love story that would do any Greek scribe proud. Fans will learn more of Yuri's background and really see into the heart of him, and love him all the more. As he begins to fall in love with an unexpected character, they Guardians face one of their biggest threats. Vampires who are not only trained in combat, but have an even deadly tranquilizer than before. The question is will they be able to find and eliminate this threat before its too late?
Someone really needs to tell Nina LaShay to just give up on the runway, especially during fashion week. In Hannah Jane's Stake Out Nina is attempting to prepare her models for the catwalk, and yet again has a rival with other plans for her. At least this time around she isn't being accused of murder. Its' worst, the model she just fired has been turned, and its up to her to find and stop her before the Big City has a much smaller population. You don't have to be a fan of the series', or even have read it, to enjoy this laugh out loud paranormal comic relief.
On the Hunt is perfect for all paranormal lovers. There is something for everyone within these stories, and perfect samples of a few fantastic series'.
Review: His Wicked Desire
His Wicked Desire by Dawn Chartier (ARC Review)
Vieux Carre Witch Sisters Book 2
Published August 24, 2015 by Entangled Covet Imprint
4 Wicked Stars
"Sometimes one needs to lose their outer beauty to realize the true beauty they have within. Helping that task doesn't even require magic."
Synopsis -
A paranormal category romance from Entangled's Covet imprint...
He's found himself a wicked witch...
Brye Morgeaux is a half-witch, half-warlock who always relied on her beauty—especially when it came men. After a run-in with a particularly vicious warlock, Brye's face is left scarred, forcing her to look to who she is on the inside. And what Brye finds is darker than anything she'd imagined...
Then she's handed a terrible ultimatum—join the warlock clan, or watch her family die.
Josh Copeland has known the Morgeaux family for years, and has been waiting for the time when Brye would see him as something—anything—more than a friend. As she battles darkness from within and without, he realizes the woman he loves might just be her own worst, wicked enemy. Now Josh must find a way to show Brye who she really is...before she kills him. (Goodreads)
Review -
Even though Entangled puts such a hindrance on their authors, forcing them to put more romance than magic and mayhem, Chartier once again does a fantastic job at doing just that. For those that prefer a lot of romance with a truly believable love story with their Paranormal, this is the perfect fit.  For those that want more violence, blood and guts, you won't get too much here, but what there is of it is genuine perfection. Expertly detailed making readers feel as though they are right there on the sidelines looking in if not taking part of the action themselves. She is also one of the very few writers that understand the difference between a Warlock and a Witch has nothing to do with gender, even though Charmed did its best to rid the public of this long running stereotype.
Picking up right where Bewitching The Enemy left off, the sisters have to not only deal with the aftermath of learning they are not only witches but part warlock as well. Their powers being bound within their mothers' locket, the family secret was well hidden. But Brye has even more to deal with. Always having been known for her beauty, the very visible scar on her face is a very devastating thing. From the outside looking in, that may seem like a superficial and insignicant thing. To Brye, it was the same as losing a limb. But, the struggles she goes through during her healing process make her a much better woman and witch in the end. The problem? All the rage and anger she begins to feel and hold in is making that much easier for the warlock part of her begin to make itself known.
A simple man in love with a not so simple girl, Josh learns the hard way that things are not always as they seem. Determined to help Brye come back to herself after going through such a terrible ordeal, he can't understand why she seems determined to push him away. They've been friends for as long as he can remember and no longer will he act as though that's all there is between them. And the feelings he holds within prove in the end that love is stronger than any form of magic.
Dawn Chartier has a true talent when it comes to exquisite detail and true storytelling. This book is not written as a stand alone, nor should it be read as one.
The Vieux Carre sisters are meeting more and more of their family members, and as they do they begin to realize the true meaning of wicked and evil. And the more they worry that side of themselves may rise to the surface. His Wicked Desire is a true must read for all lovers of Paranormal Romance.
(Side-note to Editor: Using you're instead of 'you are', especially during the dialog is just fine, helps things flow a whole lot better. It drives nit-pickers like me insane when its not. Just sayin. :-P)
Review: Angel Lover
Angel Lover by Tricia Skinner (ARC Review)
Angel Assassins Book 2
Published June 30, 2015 by Entangled: Select Underworld
4.5 Broken Wings!
"The sign of a great series is when you find yourself loving each book that much more than the last. This installment is my new fave of the series."
Synopsis -
There’s no danger greater than falling for your enemy…
The Nephilim are bound. Their powers cursed. But half-angel Kasdeja will do anything to free them from Heaven's tyranny. When Kas is approached by a striking, mysterious woman, she tells him his greatest enemies hold the key to his freedom.
Mariel keeps herself shrouded in secrets, using them to hide her true self. For she is not just employed by the Renegades--enemy fallen angels—she is a double agent, working on the sly for Heaven. Her directive is to seduce the gorgeous Nephilim—despite her insecurity about such sensual acts.
For Mariel is playing a dangerous game, and falling for Kas could only cause trouble; her assignment isn't just seduction. It's destruction.  (Goodreads)
Review -
Ever since the beginning of the series its been in the back of readers' minds; Did any of the Bound Ones fathers' survive? Are there any other angels, besides the Renegades, who would like to see the Directorate take a nasty fall? Those questions are finally answered in Angel Lover. And the father and son interaction is not something fans want to miss, and will love as long as they don't expect a heartfelt reunion.
Kasdeja has always seen his talent of reading minds to be just short of nothing. Especially when compared to that of his brothers; mind control, ultrasonic soundwaves, forcefields. Though he does see his value within the team for technological savvy, others see him as the weakest link and plan on taking that to their advantage. They dangle several carrots in front his nose to sway him in crossing over the other side. The one carrot that is the most enticing is the wingless angel that continues pulling at his heartstrings. The question there is, whose side is she really on? Will what they offer Kas be enough for him to betray the only family he has ever known?
Mariel is plagued by the loss of her team. Making the ultimate sacrifice in order to make sure their killers pay and their souls can be lain to rest, she immerses within the enemies camp. When asked by the Renegades to bring Kasdeja into their fold by any means necessary she has to ask herself just how far she's willing to go, and if she even has a choice in the matter. But the more time she spends with her charge, the more she begins to question the motive behind both sets of her bosses actions, and the more she feels guilty for betraying Kas. And when she learns the truth behind all of the lies, there may be Hell to pay within the ranks of Heaven.
Seems as though another of the Bound has found a woman that is strong, smart, independent and far from being a damsel in distress.
Angel Lover is a definite must read. While it can be read as a stand alone, I would NOT recommend doing so. Readers picking up this series for the first time should begin with book 0.5, you will not be lost and will be able to enjoy the read it will be so much more rewarding when read in order. Set within the heart of my hometown Detroit brings this series close to home with all the detailed descriptions of landscapes many wouldn't even know about. Full of action, intrigue, loyalty and betrayal, Angel Assassins is a series that can enjoyed by Urban Fantasy lovers of any gender.
Review: Wicked Ride
Wicked Ride by Rebecca Zanetti (ARC Review)
The Realm Enforcers Book 1
Published June 23, 2015 by Lyrical Press
5 Blazing Spheres of Fire!
"Rebecca Zanetti has done it again! Another set of brothers that will leave readers drooling and burning for more."
Synopsis -
If you love the Dark Protectors, these wicked hot Realm Enforcers are for you!
Alexandra Monzelle is a hard-fighting, heat-packing Seattle vice cop, and she’s not much interested in being protected. Her short skirt and sex-kitten heels are tools to lure her suspects into talking about the deadly new drug hitting the streets. She can take care of herself and then some. Unfortunately, she can’t seem to get that through to Kellach Dunne.
Kellach is a fresh import from Dublin, and he’s landed at the heart of a vicious motorcycle club that deals in guns, narcotics, and mayhem. He’s all male, all rough power—and all interference in her damn investigation. Maybe he’s one of the good guys. Maybe not. Lex knows an affair with an immortal like him would risk everything. No matter how delicious he looks… (Goodreads)
Review -
When coming off from a fangatasically sensational series most authors get either tons of hate mail for the way it was ended, or for ending it period, or they get even more letters and emails asking for more. Some push out one last book or novella to appease their fans. Others like Zanetti  create a spin-off series. Avid readers know that often times that truly doesn't work out too well, as there is usually either too much or not enough of the characters from the original series involved within the new story-line. On very rare occasions readers are lucky enough to come across an author with the ability to pull off the perfect combination; Jeannine Frost, Rachel Mead, J. R. Ward and now Rebecca Zanetti.
 Phenakite/Planekite/PK, or as I call it Substance P, the mineral that is deadly to witches, has made its way to the states in the form of a drug named Apollo. A drug that will make as regular overdose look like an act of mercy. A drug that the Realm cannot allow to be left on the streets or let it make its way back across the border. Who better to send to eliminate this problem but the Realm Enforcers; Kellach, Adam and Daire Dunne, with a couple of tagalongs that fans of the Dark Protectors will be more than happy to see.
Alexandra Monzelle of the Seattle Police Department is in for a rude awakening when a routine bust becomes anything but when flames start coming off of her perp, and strange, drop dead gorgeous man with an Irish brogue walks into the alley, and into her life. The daughter of a notorious drug dealer, Alex has made it her life's purpose to get drugs and dealers off of the streets. When a drug turns up in her home town that is so deadly as to incinerate its users very organs, she is more determined than ever. The problem is Alex can't seem to catch a break in the case and every lead she gets seems to keep pointing to Kellach Dunne,  mysterious man that is anything but. While her instincts and her walled up heart tell her he must be innocent, can she ignore all of the evidence leading her straight to her doorstep. Even though her hormones continue to lead her straight into his arms.
Kellach Dunne has been charged with not only clearing Seattle of a drug with the potential of becoming a weapon to be used against his kind, but to also keep an eye two of the Kings nephews'. While its a steady debate over which charge is the bigger threat to his own hide, his heart is being threatened by the local Garda. Which shouldn't be too big of a problem since she isn't an enhanced human and therefore couldn't possibly be a mate to him. Right? All he has to do is find the man/woman behind the drug, keep the humans from learning about his kind, learn the true purpose and targets of the drug, keep the hotheaded female garda safe and off of his trail, and keep two hotheads from getting themselves killed. No big deal for a big bad Realm Enforcer. Just a dramatically huge, entertaining dilemma.
Fans, new and old alike will fall in love with the Dunne brothers with this no-holds-barred first book in the series. This fast paced, action packed truly Wicked Ride is truly a must read for all Paranormal lovers of any gender.
