Here are six sentances from my current #WIP

“You sure wasn’t thinking about all that when you killed not just one, but two cops. That were white, in a black neighborhood, where you left their squad car. And let two humans walk away with their memories intact. But now you’re worried about doing something that may affect the past?”

I knew she was glaring at me with her eyebrows touching her hairline even though at that point I had lost the battle with my eyelids. “Dude, you know right well that was different.” I managed to say.

“Why, cause it was you?”

“Look, do you. I’m not about to argue with you right now.” She was still talking smack, not wanting me to get the last word, but I was beyond listening. I just let her say whatever she wanted to and let the sunlight take hold and pull me into a deep slumber.
